Internet Learning Resource Centre (ILRC) is a social enterprise wholly owned by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The mandate of ILRC is to implement the Internet Learning Support Programme sponsored by the Office of the
Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) to provide “i Learn at home” to eligible students in 10 districts in the western region of Hong Kong.
The service objectives of the Organisation are as follows:
- Operate the Internet Learning Support Programme sponsored by the OGCIO to enable primary and secondary school students from the target
- low-income families to gain access to the Internet at home for learning;
- Eliminate obstacles for students to gain universal access to information and communication technology; and
- Enhance the quality of children / young people through promotion of the proper use of the Internet.
